Just Eat:" No Match Is A Wrong Match"

A lot of us are struggling to find our true love. However, when we finally find the right one, the relationship may not always have a happy ending.

Many people, like my parents' generation, think love is only between a man and a woman. They are very hard to accept "man-man" or "woman-woman" or couple from different cultures.

Whenever I say we should respect all kinds of relationships, my parents think I have a problem. Overall, I need to be fixed.

Because of those judgement and bias, some people have to hide their true feelings of love. They don't have enough courage to tell the truth because they think no one will understand them. The most important, they don't want get hurt.

The sponsor of Milan Pride 2019, Just Eat App created a special love story between a slice of pizza and a pineapple. This Ad "Just Amore" is calling on everyone should have freedom choice no matter with relationship or meal.

Brief Story:

One day, a slice of pizza is walking on the street.

He has a crash on a pineapple at the bus stop.

The pineapple also has a feeling with the pizza. So, she gets off the bus and comes to the pizza. They are happy to meet and want to get together. Suddenly, people around them are pointing to them, laughing at them and even judging them. These people make the couple feel super uncomfortable and scared.

The pizza can't handle this pressure, so he runs away. (Personally, I really feel sad about this pizza guy. At the same time, I also feel angry with him. How can he so weak? Does he care pineapple's feeling and thought? He just left without any excuse. This is so wrong. As a woman, I can't accept this. When we get problem, we should communicate and find the way to solve it together. Not Run Away!)

Pizza walks in a park, and he sees many couple are different. They have different skin colors.

They have same gender. No matter how special they are, their love is true and they are very happy. They are brave to follow their true feeling of love.

Those scenes make pizza realize he is wrong. He apologize to pineapple and get back together.

At the end, the Ads shows the main message "No Match is Wrong Match".

My Thought:

As a very successful online food delivery company, Just Eat may see many special orders from different customers. They accept difference and respect customers' choices. Probably, this make users love this brand.

This simple love story tells people to be honest to ourselves. Finding love is never wrong. It is fine to have pineapple and pizza in your meal, and it is also fine to start a relationship with the one who make you have special feelings. No matter what, the most important thing is you are happy.

Yes, it may hard to let everyone accept your relationship or eating habit. Don't worry about them. They can't accept is their problem, not yours. You should feel good about yourself and respect your feelings and choices.
