Whenever I want to drink, beer is always my first choice! In the past, with little beer knowledge, I used to choose a beer only based on their favors and bottle design directly from a retailer store. For me, more special bottle design, I would be more likely to buy.
In recent years, digital has been changing customer behaviors. If I want to buy a beer now, I am more likely to search the brand website before make my decision. Personally, simple is good. Thus, I prefer to make my buying decision based on how easy to explore the information from a brand website via different platform: PC, IPad, and Smartphone. After I went through several websites, MillerCoors website is just as simple as a bottle of pure water that easily fill in my basic needs.

UX on PC
As I open MillerCoors website, it does not show any pop-up advertising. Instead, it directly shows the homepage with a clean structure. That saves my time. "Beer Yellow" background well represents its core product--beer. The auto-moving slides are very outstanding on the page. It can quickly grab my attention to go through key points and click the page. I feel MillerCoors looks like a professional, low-pitched and straightforward person. It is always pleasured to learn from it.
Miller Coors does not only want show you its products, but it also wants to tell you its stories. Thus, on the top of homepage, its blog named "Behind the Beer" just next to the social media platforms. It smartly lead me to read its blog before to follow it on Facebook!
I was quickly attracted by the "Get In The Redd's Zone" slide because the slides looks so delicious! I clicked the slide immediately. A cool and refresh apple red web page jump in front of my eyes. The page looks like dropping in the apple juice. How passion it is! It makes me to buy it. I fully engaged with its web page and click on "Be A FAN".
Does MillerCoors just as simple as nothing? Absolutely NO! MillerCoors design a convenient way for customers to search. If customers want to find the products near them, they just simply search directly from its customized search engine. People can visualize the product location from its map. Thus, we don't need to waste time on Google!
UX on I Pad:
The website displays on the I Pad is consistently organized. Instead of the auto-moving slides, it shows four main titles under four relevant pictures. The white background makes me feel clean. It is very easy to touch the titles on the screen.
As I clicked through its blog "Behind the Beer", its structure and contents look exact the same as those on PC. The most attractive thing on the blog is picture. It is very visualize. It delivers short and interesting contents to me. The stories are very simple structured with short paragraphs. I never feel bored to read its stories! And the story "New Coors Light Package Showcases Design Innovation" makes me want to try its new innovated product--Light Coors!
On the right side of the blog page, it displays a variety of categories and popular tags to let me quickly to choose. MillerCoors organized its stories into relevant tags or categories that allows me to focus on its information concentratively. Thus, the blog reflects MillerCoors is a detail-oriented brand. It understand its customers so well and make so easy for them.
UX on Smartphone:
When I check the MillerCoors homepage and blog on my smartphone, it displays the same way as IPad does. The only difference is the screen size. Even the screen is smaller than I Pad's, it still easy to touch and clear to read the information. MillerCoors wants customers to have same feeling about its websites on every digital platform. The consistent contents and web design make me easy to remember.
All in all, MillerCoors has created a simple but powerful way to connect with people in the digital world. It well addresses its brand in a professional and consistent way. It is a very smart approach to let customers remember the brand. Without any complex structure, people would like to perceive MillerCoors as a stable and reliable brand. MillerCoors use the most simple way to build long-term trust with people!
