Five Tips To Boost Your Call-To-Action

No matter how amazing our Ad content is, the final goal is to make people take action. We want people to buy the product, try the service, sign up the email, etc.

These five useful tips can make a strong Call-To-Action (CTA):

Have A CTA on Every Page

Everything you write should have a call-to-action after all because you are creating a piece of content for a special reason.

You want to build engagement with your audiences and get them to start taking action. Therefore, before you start writing, you need to decide what action you want the reader to take.

Start With A Verb

Start your CTA with action verbs like "start", "try", "download", "shop", "order", "subscribe" or "watch", etc. It will make clear that you are expecting people to take an action.

For example, I go to H&M page. Every page and every image has a clear call-to-action word "SHOP NOW". People will understand the purpose of those amazing fashion image, and where those image will lead to, of course, a shopping page.

Create of Urgency

Urgency always drive people crazy. Some easy ways to create a sense of urgency in your CTA are "click now", "Limited Time Offer", or "Sales is ended by Jan 3rd".

For example, on Father;s Day, H&M made a limited offer which the sales were through 06/16/2019.  Moms, daughters and sons are not going to miss this limited offer to buy good presents for their super man.

People know that there's a deadline there, and it encourages them to buy because it creates that sense of urgency.

Make It Visible

If you want to grad people's attention, make it outstanding to draw people's eye. Using pop up ads, contrasting color or simple bold the CTA.

For example, when I visit Gap page, it pops up a CTA window to ask me enter my email address, so I can enjoy 25% off. The CTA is very clear and outstanding.

Minimize The Risk

Many customers leave the page without taking any action because they are afraid of taking risks such as fill out the credit card information, take long installation, or have to sign contract.

In order to reduce their fears, we can build our CTA like that: "Join today and enjoy our 100% money-back guarantee for 30 days!" or "No Credit Card Required", or "No contract need!" or "No cancellation fee".

This way will make people feel less pressure and would like to take the action.

Just Eat:" No Match Is A Wrong Match"

A lot of us are struggling to find our true love. However, when we finally find the right one, the relationship may not always have a happy ending. Many people, like my parents' generation, think love is only between a man and a woman. They are very hard to accept "man-man" or "woman-woman" or couple from different cultures.  Whenever I say we should respect all kinds of relationships, my parents think I have a problem. Overall, I need to be fixed.  Because of those judgement and bias, some people have to hide their true feelings of love. They don't have enough courage to tell the truth because they think no one will  understand them. The most important, they don't want get hurt. The sponsor of Milan Pride 2019, Just Eat App  created a special love story between a slice of pizza and a pineapple. This Ad "Just Amore" is calling on everyone should have freedom choice no matter with relationship or meal. Brief Story: One
